Cosmetic Acupuncture & Facial Rejuvenation

As we age, our skin changes. It is typical in our 40s to start to lose elasticity and firmness, for fine lines to appear and for frown lines and stress and tension in the face to be more prominent. Depending on diet and lifestyle, your skin can begin to look dry and or dehydrated.

After menopause, the fluids in the body diminish and the integrity of our face and skin changes even more. Elastin in the body reduces and the body begins to slow down collagen production. Loss of volume, sagging and drooping occurs.

Facial acupuncture/cosmetic acupuncture improves facial skin in 4 key ways:

  • Boosting Circulation and Vitality

  • Stimulating Collagen Production

  • Stimulating the Lymph System to clear and drain waste and reduce puffiness

  • Toning muscles and relaxing tightness

The quality of our skin is determined by nutrition and lifestyle. Stress and sleep being major factors for how well we age. During these sessions you will receive a full body acupuncture treatment in addition to the facial acupuncture to address any internal imbalances.
